This project includes the historic renovation of the old Charleston High School into a classroom building for the College of Health Professions at MUSC.  In addition to this 40,000 SF renovation, a second building of 40,000 SF was built along with a 500+ car parking deck.

The mechanical systems include a smoke control system for the three story atrium in the existing structure, air cooled chillers, variable volume air handlers, and a DDC control system.  Domestic hot water and building heating hot water is generated by steam to hot water heat exchangers.  Steam is tied back into one of MUSC’s main steam plants.
